stolen from my journal

Money was created to aid trade. I don't want to raise only cows and never eat omelettes. In the same sense I don't want to have a huge ass farm and grow fruit, vegetables, and all kinds of animals to enjoy a four course meal. So money was invented. (That and people needed a currency to agree with "prices" but you can learn more about the origins of money in History class). Towns prospered and grew from specialised citizens.

I.E.: A town comprises of a dairy farmer, cattle herder, vegetable farmer, fruit grower, hunter, blacksmith, etc. Money "makes the world go 'round". The blacksmith makes the horse rancher horse shoes for x dollars. The horse rancher leases his horses for $x to the vegetable farmer who needs horses for whatever. But greed seeps into the community. Are humans natural horders? Or is it social condition? Why should Mrs. Sally get more money (and thus more LUXURY) from selling apple pies while I struggle as a musician, providing the town with entertainment?

Greed.

Let me kill/raise/kill more chickens for more money so I can buy more STUFF and flash my "status" at you. Look how awesome I am! I have more $ than you. But $ doesn't exist. It was created so trade could be easier.

So this whole oil spill BP has done? Money. Let me break it down.

Back in the late 90's early 2000's the first electric cars were invented. But they were only leased. Never sold. The marketing sucked too. The government was not enforcing the laws it passed to lower emissions for a greener future. (This is California, USA). Consumers were wary of a new product. Watch Who Killed the Electric Car? for a more accurate and mind opening depiction of this fiasco.

So, basically electric cars were invented but oil companies would lose MONEY. Oh no =/ shame! My heart goes out to them . . . NOT!!! Because of MONEY, the OIL COMPANIES paid car manufacturers to KILL the electric car.

And right now? Tonnes of oil is gushing out into the ocean from an oil leak, courtesy of BP, which ironically enough was running an ad campaign in the mid 2000's boasting it was implementing a "greener" petrol via corn. BP now represented "Beyond Petrol".

Bullshit. I'm BB - Beyond Bullshit.

You, humans, creatures, weeds, world, hog and toil to gather the most fruits in the wild to trade at the market to get a bajillion eggs. You won't use these eggs for omelettes or scrambled eggs. You're not making devilled eggs or egg salad. You get a million eggs so you can go around the village and knock on your neighbour's door to say "hey look at me! I have 100000000000000 eggs, and you only have 50! HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Sure, not EVERYONE is like this, but just enough and those that are, are killing planet at a faster rate than nature or the cosmos would have.

Why kill a baby when it has his whole life to live?

Because life has no "meaning"?
Because he'll die anyway?
Because killing him gives you more eggs?

Why do you kill the planet? Why do you kill the planet? I don't even feel like living and participating/functioning in a world/society built from generations of humans rooted in hate, greed, love, sorrow, and lust.

Propagate the slaves to continue the money machine that manufacture paper that cuts souls and trees down.

Fuck that!

But I can't win, can I?

I could run into the woods, but Amy already told me flat-out that she couldn't live in the wild without technology. And who am I kidding? I love videogames and the internet and amusement parks.

I guess I'm just over people who have jobs that pay them enough money that they can drive BMWs around fuelled by planet-killing petrol as gallons of oil spills into the Gulf of Mexico, all because of Money. Electric Cars were killed because of money. Because of eggs. Because of something intangible. The owener of BP strives to drill the oil and sell it to commuters because why?

Did his parents not love him enough? Is the meaning to his life rolex watches? LMFAO. BMWs, Prada, Rolex, Nike, Bic. They're NAMES. Made up words for us brainless un-thinking COMSUMERS to see, associate, want, desire, buy, use, discard, want, buy, use, discard, want, buy, use...discard... w a n t . . . b u y
